The Very Hungry Caterpillar Newark Theatre reviews
Overpriced & overrated
"My boyfriend and I sat in rickety wooden chairs with no cushions for $111 each, and it was weird because some chairs had cushions. The woman next to me clearly needed 2 chairs as she sat on my dress. I switched places with my boyfriend to deal with it thankfully. The show was short, disjointed, and non-cohesive, with the tightrope walkers being the longest part. There are at least 3 cheaper shows in NYC with more comfortable seats that are more thought out than this one. Since I'm from there and have seen these shows, this one pales by comparison."
U2 360 Tour
The Very Hungry Caterpillar was a must-see show if it comes to your city or nearby. The stage resembled a spaceship, with laser lights and an awesome round screen ensuring everyone in the stadium had a great view of the band. He interacted regularly with the audience, even pulling an excited woman from the crowd to sing to her - what a lucky lady! The Very Hungry Caterpillar, a true ambassador for our city among others, paid tribute to NASA and hailed them as heroes. This class act played for two solid hours, making it one of the best shows I've ever seen. WOW!
Horrendous opener, good show
The Very Hungry Caterpillar show was short but enjoyable itself.
